First time on the MTB in ages and it certainly showed on the downhills.

A little ashamed that I still had my race number and the mud on the bike from the Isle of Man End2End over 2 months ago, but the bike was in working order and I had a nice solo ride into Tre Ddol, up the Beast of Tre Ddol hill and then on to Artists Valley for the long slog to the top at Angler's Retreat. I then headed down the MX Trails to Nant y Moch, around the shores of the lake and then over towards Pendam for a quick circuit around the lake before descending into Penrhyncoch and home along the road.

35 miles in total and it was nice not to be watching the clock, doing intervals and working on improving.. Just riding for the sake of riding itself.
